what do you use for podcasts?

I need some help. Right now I use iTunes for all of my podcasting goodness. I'm not sure that I like it though... It's mostly good, and I mostly like it. They're pretty well managed, and I can edit what I need to (most of the time), but I can't add externally downloaded podcasts and have them show up in that directory.

I'm looking for something else (maybe), and I want to get some recommendations. I already looked in a couple of places (like Podcasting News and Wikipedia), but I'd like some feedback on what other people are using before I start installing everything.

As far as features go, I'm looking for something that works like almost a cross between iTunes and Picasa, but for audio. It would allow me to subscribe to podcasts and manage them, and (hopefully) have bittorrent support... I'll leave the rest open for now.

I don't do podcasts

I don't have a portable player to listen to on my commute.

And even if I did, well, I don't actually have a commute :)

I've tried listening to podcasts at the computer, but that just doesn't work for me. I'm inclined to read things or work when I'm at the computer, and if I'm doing that, I can't really pay attention to the podcast. So what's the point?

I do do podcasts (hahaha)

Uh, yeah, you're on the other end of the commuting line from me. I have an hour+ each way, and I don't like the radio in the afternoon. I got an ipod nano for my birthday and listen to a few...

...but I'm like you with them at the computer. I just want something to manage them while I'm at the computer, then listen to them when I'm in the car. You know there's a python podcast, right? heh.

yup...

I've given the Py411 podcast its day in court, but its fate was the same as all the others. I just can't sit there and listen to it.
