firefox crashing makes me sad

As I mentioned a few days ago, Firefox has been crashing on me a lot in the past couple of weeks. Every time it happens, I get a little more upset, since I just want it to work (who doesn't?).

To be honest, I probably have too many Add-Ons installed. At one point, I think I had almost 40. Before anyone says anything, I actually use most of them on a daily basis. Here's what I have, including the versions, but not the Themes (thanks go to Listzilla for generating the list):

Not all of them are enabled right now, but they're all in there. I think the problem has been Firebug, which I use to figure out how pages work and what is (or isn't) working on pages. It's super useful, and I wish I didn't need to disable it, but it's necessary for now. I also want to re-enable NoScript, which I've had mixed success with in the past...

This isn't one of those "list of great extensions" things, just a little something to show what's happening on my particular browser.

Are there any good Firefox extension debugging tips out there? I'd like to know what's actually happening when it crashes, so I might be able to narrow down where my problem is.

FF Extension: HIGH

it's not what you think.

It stands for How'd I Get Here, and it's great for people who want to follow their train of thought when searching for something. I even know how I found it:

Yes, it would be easy enough to write it all down, but this is good for tangents (which I always seem to end up on) and times when you don't think to write it down until it would be too late. I'm not entirely sure of the details, but I think it pretty much just takes the referrer from the page you're on and links to that. It even follows between tabs and windows too.

That's how I got on the tangent from the other day, and how I figured out how I got there.
